Attention STL neighbors and beyond! Neighborhood Bear Hunt is a weekly activity for neighborhoods to help make this time of uncertainty a little more ‘bearable’ (wink). Encourage your neighbors to get involved and give the kiddos something to hunt for on your daily walks. Put a bear in your window and get started! A stuffed bear, of course (although a real one would be much more impressive, overachiever!)

On Saturday, Quarantine Crawl 2.0 will bring together people all over the world to join thousands of “crawlers” from the comfort of your own home. If we can’t take the party to the bars, they’ll bring the party to you (social distancing style).

For the duration of social distancing/quarantine practices Diplo’s “Corona World Tour” is upon us and American DJ Diplo will livestream DJ sets from his house five nights per week. Each night is a different style, and tonight is an ambient set at 9pm and tomorrow, a rave party at 10. A Very Lazer Sunday, paying homage to his group, Major Lazer will satisfy your dancehall and reggae needs on Sundays.

For another music festival this week, check out the Master Musicians Social Distance Festival which is a week-long live streamed music festival from over 50 artists including Arlo McKinley, Blackfoot Gypsies, Jessica Lea Mayfield, Ben Sollee and many more! From 2-10pm, artists will be performing from their bedrooms, homes, studios, or wherever they are social distancing LIVE to Facebook.

I can’t wait for the next Club Quarantine featuring D-Nice. It’s an instagram party with old school R&B jams that you haven’t heard in a while. Cardina and I have been getting our groove on as his live sets have been running up to 8 hours..yes, 8! The celebrities that pop in are just incredible. Check it.

The fine folks at Jam with Jamie know right now is a really challenging time for everyone and they are doing their part by providing virtual jam sessions for the kiddos.

Let’s support these businesses so they will be here when we get out of this crisis. Studies show that most of money spent at local businesses stay in the community. I always advocate being a localist, but now it’s more important than ever.
